ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (June 2024) – Miss’d America LLC is pleased to announce that the 33rd Miss’d America Pageant will return with a new home and a brand-new look.
 

This year’s pageant Bacchanal, A Roman Fantasy will take place on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 8:00pm in Caesars Atlantic City’s Circus Maximus Theater featuring lavish sets and incredible numbers, all led by the reigning Miss’d America 2024, Freeda Kulo, returning host Carson Kressley, the Melanie Rice Orchestra, the Miss’d America dancers and special performances by the cast of The Hook.

"We are thrilled to call Caesars Atlantic City our new home and eagerly anticipate the wonderful opportunities that lie ahead,” said pageant co-founders John Schultz and Gary Hill. “We look forward to a strong and tenured partnership with Caesars Entertainment that will bring great success and mutual growth."

A portion of the proceeds from the 2024 Miss’d America Pageant will be donated to various LGBTQIA+ supportive charities. Since its inception, the pageant has donated over $400,000 to multiple organizations.

Contestants competing for the title of Miss’d America 2025 will be judged in the categories of swimsuit, talent, evening gown and must complete a Judges’ Interview. Along with the crown and sash, Miss’d America will receive $5,000 in cash and must be available for multiple appearances throughout her reigning year. The first runner-up will receive $2,500 and the second runner-up will receive $1,500.

A not-to-be-missed entertainment event, the Miss’d America Pageant started in 1994 at a local Atlantic City club and was created as a spoof of the world-famous Miss America Pageant to raise funds for a local charities

It took place annually on the night after that famous beauty pageant, the joke being that the drag performers ‘missed’ getting into the real pageant at Boardwalk Hall.  It ended in 2005 and was absent from Atlantic City for five years, before making its triumphant return on January 31, 2010, and has grown larger and more spectacular every year since.

The Miss’d America Organization is an inclusive pageant the welcomes any person assigned male at birth to compete. The use of hormones, silicone or other forms of body augmentation will not preclude participation in the contest. Miss’d America strives to support and celebrate all LGBTQIA+ people and is committed to affirming the identity of every member of this family.
