Atlantic City will serve as the Base Camp for the Haiti international team

 

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ - June, 4, 2026 – As soccer fans from around the world descend on North America for the highly anticipated World Cup, Visit Atlantic City is preparing to bring the excitement of the tournament to the Jersey Shore. Named an official viewing destination for the global soccer tournament, Atlantic City will welcome visitors with a summer-long lineup of soccer-inspired events ranging from beachfront watch parties and public art installations to family-friendly programming, drink specials and more.
 

With its iconic Boardwalk, vibrant casino resorts, beachfront entertainment and proximity to regional host venues including the New York New Jersey Stadium (MetLife Stadium) and Philadelphia Stadium (Lincoln Financial Field), Atlantic City offers fans a dynamic place to celebrate the tournament beyond the stadium. The destination will also play a key role in the international soccer moment as Stockton University serves as the official Base Camp for Haiti’s national team, bringing the energy of the tournament directly into the Atlantic City region. To further welcome visitors and celebrate this momentous global event, Visit Atlantic City is proud to showcase the tournament throughout the destination with street pole banners designed to guide fans and build excitement across the city.

World Cup Watch Parties
Visitors can watch major soccer matches in Atlantic City at a variety of sportsbooks, casinos and bars located throughout the city. Guests can head to Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall for watch parties, jersey giveaways and draft beer specials featuring selections from around the world. In addition, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa will be hosting watch parties throughout the summer, while also offering themed cocktails and exclusive packages for fans looking to stay on property. At Ocean Casino Resort, fans can catch every moment of the action at The Gallery Bar, Book & Games, home to 140 feet of LED walls for a high-energy viewing experience. Guests can also head to America’s Birthday Bar at 1927 Lounge, an immersive, Americana-inspired pop-up that offers the perfect setting to cheer on Team USA. Visitors will also be able to watch the games at various sportsbooks at casino resort properties across the destination. Located in close proximity to  host destinations like New York New Jersey Stadium (MetLife Stadium) and Philadelphia Stadium (Lincoln Financial Field), Atlantic City serves as an easy and accessible place to vacation before or after attending matches in the region.

 

World Cup Match Ball Boardwalk Installation
Located in front of The Yard at Bally’s Atlantic City, the official match ball of the FIFA World Cup 2026™: Trionda is on display along the Atlantic City Boardwalk. The installation will be on display all summer long, marking Atlantic City as an official viewing destination.

 

Atlantic City’s Stockton University Will Serve as the Base Camp for the Haiti Team
Atlantic City’s very own Stockton University has been given the prestigious title of being the Base Camp for the Haiti team. The team will be practicing, as well as staying in the destination, making the World Cup last longer than just on game day in Atlantic City. 

 

Citywide Soccer Celebration
The City of Atlantic City, in partnership with Visit Atlantic City and North 2 Shore, will host a free citywide Soccer Celebration on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 6:00–11:00 p.m. on the green turf outside Showboat Resort at New Jersey Avenue and the Boardwalk. Designed to bring residents and visitors together through sport, culture and community, the family-friendly celebration will feature a large outdoor viewing screen, sound system, face painting, arts and crafts, peewee soccer, inflatables, giveaways, music and more. The event will create a safe, inclusive gathering space for fans of all ages to celebrate the excitement of soccer in Atlantic City. Parking at Showboat will be waived for the first 75 vehicles. Attendees must check in at the event to receive a redeemed parking voucher.

 

WorldCupAC Beach Soccer Tournament
Beach Soccer AC Summer Series 2026 is a free public event series taking place on the beach in front of Stockton University’s Esports Innovation Center from June 13 through July 19, 2026. Held every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with no event on July 4, the series will transform the Atlantic City Boardwalk into a soccer-focused destination as part of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Choose NYNJ Host City initiative. Programming will include live beach soccer, open pick-up games, youth clinics, organized matches, skill stations, esports activations at the EIC, community partner tabling, family programming and free watch parties for World Cup matches when games kick off. Admission is free, with no tickets or registration required.

 

WorldCupAC Esports Tournament
WorldCupAC Esports 2026 is a free, in-person statewide esports tournament taking place in celebration of the global soccer tournament. Teams can compete in Rocket League or League of Legends, with all matches taking place on PC at assigned New Jersey esports venues. In Atlantic City, participants can select Atlantic Fieldhouse or Esports Innovation Center (EIC) Boardwalk Atlantic City as preferred qualifying venues, with EIC Boardwalk Atlantic City also hosting the championship semifinals July 14–15, third-place matches July 18, and the Grand Finals on July 19 alongside a World Cup Final Watch Party.

 

The Atlantic City Beach Festival and World Cup Watch Party
The Atlantic City Beach Festival and World Cup Watch Party will be taking over the beach at 1 Atlantic Ocean from July 18–19, just in time for the third-place match and World Cup final. This high-energy event combines live Latin music, beachfront entertainment, world-class soccer viewing and unforgettable concerts against the backdrop of Atlantic City’s iconic shoreline. At the festival, attendees will be able to watch the matches on giant LED screens, listen to live music, enjoy food and drinks from food trucks and local vendors, and take part in interactive family-friendly activities. In addition, VIP ticketholders will enjoy private viewing areas, cabanas and more. Tickets start at $10 for general admission and $100 for VIP and can be purchased here.
