Atlantic City, NJ, Oct. 8, 2026 - Atlantic City is welcoming the fall and winter season with resort enhancements, seasonal celebrations and a packed calendar of entertainment, conventions and sporting events. Among the highlights is Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa’s $107 million transformation of the Borgata Tower, with newly renovated guestrooms set to debut floor by floor beginning in October. Visitors can also embrace the Halloween spirit at The Boo Bar: Witches Edition at Resorts Casino Hotel or ring in 2027 at DJ Cassidy’s two-night New Year’s celebration at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, with plenty to experience throughout the fourth quarter and into the new year.

Visit Atlantic City had a strong third quarter, hosting more than 48 major events, conventions and conferences that generated over 28,515 room nights and attracted upwards of 79,900 attendees, contributing to a total economic impact of $57,545,538. Building on this momentum, Atlantic City will welcome the Atlantic City Marathon, New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) Annual Convention, Annual New Jersey League of Municipalities Conference (NJLM), and the Triple Play REALTOR® Convention & Trade Expo during the fourth quarter.

Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa Announces $107 Million Borgata Tower Transformation

Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is reimagining the Borgata Tower through a $107 million renovation, with renovated guestrooms scheduled to debut floor by floor beginning in October 2026. The project encompasses all guestrooms and suites, guestroom corridors and the tower’s main lobby, The Living Room. Designed by Avenue Interior Design, the refreshed accommodations will combine modern Italian influences with warm wood tones, textured upholstery and custom furnishings for a more residential feel. Corridors and elevator lobbies will receive bold artwork and patterns, while The Living Room will feature updated furnishings and finishes. The project is part of a broader property transformation continuing into 2027.

 

Ocean Casino Resort Announces $14 Million Transformation of The Cove

Ocean Casino Resort is investing $14 million to expand and redesign The Cove, its high-limit slot space, which is set to open in early 2027 next to the resort's Asian Table Games area. The new space will span 11,935 square feet, about 60% larger than before, with more than 192 slot machines from manufacturers including Aristocrat, Light & Wonder and IGT. The design will draw on the Atlantic Ocean, with wave-inspired details and a palette of soft neutrals, light oak, marble, brushed gold and ocean blues. New amenities will include dedicated cocktail service, an expanded beverage menu, lounge seating, private restrooms and cashier booths. The project is part of a larger effort to increase slot offerings across the property.

 

Hard Rock Atlantic City Continues $50 Million Capital Improvement Plan

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City is continuing its $50 million capital improvement plan for 2026, including the completed North Tower renovation of more than 700 guest rooms, more than 60 luxury suites and eight penthouses, along with refreshed walkways and corridors. This summer, the resort added Sitar, a contemporary Indian restaurant overlooking the Boardwalk, and Federal Donuts & Chicken, a Philadelphia favorite.

 

Tropicana Atlantic City 45th Anniversary Fireworks

On Nov. 21 at 10 p.m., Tropicana Atlantic City will celebrate 45 years since its November 1981 opening with a fireworks show over the beach, visible all along the Boardwalk.

 

HALLOWEEN EVENTS IN ATLANTIC CITY

 

The Hocus Pocus Speakeasy at Resorts Casino Hotel

On Oct. 3 and 17 at 4 p.m., Resorts Casino Hotel's Starlight Ballroom will host The Hocus Pocus Speakeasy, an interactive experience inspired by the Sanderson Sisters. The event blends cabaret, comedy, games and spooky singalongs, inviting guests to dress in costume and join the Halloween festivities.

 

Little Shop of Horrors at Resorts Casino Hotel

On Oct. 10, 17 and 24 at 8 p.m., the Atlantic City Theatre Company will bring Little Shop of Horrors to Resorts Casino Hotel's Screening Room. Arriving in time for Halloween, the musical follows a timid florist, his love interest and a mysterious plant with an appetite for human blood. The production is presented by the local nonprofit, which supports Atlantic City's creative community through theater performances and education.

 

The Boo Bar: Witches Edition at Resorts Casino Hotel

Bar One at Resorts Casino Hotel has transformed into The Boo Bar: Witches Edition for the Halloween season, featuring witch-themed décor, specialty cocktails, live music and giveaways. Guests can sample seasonal drinks such as the Candy Corn Martini, The Witch, The Warlock and The Wizard and participate in the Witches Dance every Saturday at 8 p.m., complete with a group dance and a pop-up performance near the Boardwalk entrance. On Oct. 31, guests in full costume can enter a drawing for a chance to win $100 in slot cash.

 

Halloween Takeover at Lobby Bar at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City

Throughout October, Lobby Bar is transforming into a "Disco for the Dead," featuring spooky décor, live music daily and themed cocktails inspired by music icons. Drinks include the Purple Reign, made with Empress gin, lemon juice and blackberry liqueur.

 

Halloween at Tropicana Atlantic City

From Oct. 17 through Nov. 1, Halloween takes over Tropicana Atlantic City with 14 costume contests, more than $10,000 in cash and prizes, live entertainment and nightlife events, giving guests plenty of chances to celebrate all season long.

 

Bubbles & Brunch: Witches Edition at Resorts Casino Hotel

On Oct. 25 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Capriccio at Resorts Casino Hotel will host a Halloween edition of its Bubbles & Brunch. Guests are encouraged to arrive in costume for seasonal drinks and bites, a Halloween playlist from DJ Joe Castro and interactive dancing and photo opportunities with witch dancers. The experience builds on Capriccio's weekly Sunday brunch, which features ocean views, an à la carte menu and bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys.


Halloweekend Haunted Hunt at Showboat Resort Atlantic City

On Oct. 30 and 31 beginning at 11 a.m., The Lucky Snake Arcade at Showboat will host the Halloweekend Haunted Hunt. Guests can pick up a game card at the Redemption Center, find and play each of the spooky games listed, then return the card for a prize. Entry to the arcade is free, and prizes are limited to the first 30 guests who complete the hunt.
 

The Haunting Aboard Showboat at Showboat Resort Atlantic City

On Oct. 30, Showboat Resort Atlantic City will host The Haunting Aboard Showboat, an all-ages Halloween celebration. The night includes a Trick-or-Treat Vendor Trail, pumpkin decorating, a guided haunted attraction, a Halloween dance party and a costume contest. From 6 to 7 p.m., the experience is geared toward younger children. From 7 to 9 p.m., the scares intensify for older kids, teens and adults. Families are encouraged to arrive in costume.


Candlelight Halloween Concerts at Resorts Casino Hotel

On Oct. 30 at 6:15 and 8:30 p.m., Resorts Casino Hotel's Starlight Ballroom will host Candlelight: A Haunting Evening of Halloween Classics. The live string performances will feature seasonal favorites, including Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and music from The Exorcist, Stranger Things, Beetlejuice, The Addams Family, Halloween, Psycho and Ghostbusters.


Hexed at VooDoo Lounge at Harrah's Resort Atlantic City

On Oct. 30, Hexed will take over VooDoo Lounge at Harrah's Resort Atlantic City with live entertainment, tarot card readings and Halloween-themed cocktails. Guests are encouraged to dress up for a costume contest featuring $2,000 in prizes, including a Play & Stay getaway package.
 

Halloween Haymakers Fight Night at Showboat Resort Atlantic City

On Oct. 31 from 3 to 11 p.m., RDR Promotions will present Halloween Haymakers Fight Night at Showboat Resort Atlantic City. This adults-only event pairs live combat sports with a spooky theme, music and drinks.

Out of This World: Halloween Night with Brooke Evers at Harrah's Resort Atlantic City

On Oct. 31 at 9 p.m., The Pool After Dark at Harrah's Resort Atlantic City will host Out of This World: Halloween Night with Brooke Evers. The Australian DJ will headline the evening with house beats and club anthems, alongside a two-hour open bar and Halloween cocktails. Guests in costume can compete for a share of $6,000 in prizes.


I Love R&B Party at Showboat Resort Atlantic City

On Oct. 31 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., Concert Crave will bring the I Love R&B Party to the Harlem Room at Showboat Resort Atlantic City. The party features classic and modern hits from artists such as Usher, Beyoncé, TLC, Aaliyah, SZA and Boyz II Men.

Santa’s Hideaway Adventure at Ocean Casino Resort

From Nov. 5 through Dec. 24, Santa's Hideaway Adventure will return to The Shops at The Row at Ocean Casino Resort. The only attraction of its kind in New Jersey and the tri-state area, the immersive experience will transport guests by elevator to the North Pole to meet Santa, take photos and explore a festive holiday setting. The new Merry Moments VIP Package will also debut this season, offering extra time with Santa, skip-the-line access and personalized gifts. Reservations are highly recommended.

 

Disney On Ice at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall

From Nov. 6-8, Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall will host Disney On Ice presents Spotlight Magic!, bringing a family-friendly live entertainment experience to Atlantic City ahead of the holiday season.

 

Jingle Bell Bar at Ocean Casino Resort

Jingle Bell Bar will return to Ocean Casino Resort in a new home this holiday season, taking over Nola's Bar & Lounge beginning Nov. 14. Located just steps from the casino floor, the festive pop-up will feature holiday cocktails, nostalgic décor, twinkling lights and themed entertainment, giving guests a place to gather for seasonal drinks, holiday music and photo opportunities. On Dec. 5, The Boy Band Project will perform holiday favorites from some of the biggest boy bands of all time.

 

Love Actually Live in Concert at Caesars Atlantic City

On Nov. 20 at 9 p.m. and Nov. 21 at 8 p.m., Love Actually Live in Concert will come to Circus Maximus at Caesars Atlantic City. Richard Curtis' 2003 holiday classic will play on the big screen while a full live orchestra performs Craig Armstrong's score in sync with the film, along with soundtrack favorites such as Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You." Atlantic City is one of the first stops on the 30-city national tour, which brings the film's star-studded cast and intertwined love stories to life for longtime fans and first-time viewers.

 

Gingerbread Dream Suite and Holiday Rooms at Ocean Casino Resort

Ocean Casino Resort will debut its new Gingerbread Dream Suite this holiday season, featuring a gingerbread-themed living room and peppermint-inspired primary bedroom, with hot chocolate and gingerbread cookies upon arrival. The suite will join 30 holiday-inspired rooms and suites, each with a decorated tree, hot chocolate kit and seasonal surprises, as well as the returning Mean Green Suite, inspired by a certain green holiday villain. For the fourth year, Ocean will dedicate an entire floor to holiday décor, and new this season, guests will have the option to add an in-room Santa visit with personalized gifts and treats. The rooms and suites will be available from Nov. 26 through to the end of the year.

 

Linguini By The Sea's Winter Wonderland at Ocean Casino Resort

Beginning Nov. 27, Linguini By The Sea at Ocean Casino Resort will transform into a snowy Winter Wonderland, creating an "après-sea" escape with seasonal menu offerings and specialty cocktails. Guests can book dinner or a holiday event at the restaurant while taking in Ocean's seaside views.

 

A Magical Cirque Christmas at Tropicana Atlantic City

On Nov. 28 at 8 p.m., A Magical Cirque Christmas will come to the Tropicana Showroom at Tropicana Atlantic City. The touring holiday production brings together circus performers and live renditions of Christmas favorites for a festive night of family-friendly entertainment.

 

Ocean's Holiday Village at The Shops at The Row

On Nov. 28 and Dec. 5, 12, 19 and 20 from noon - 7 p.m., Ocean's Holiday Village will return to The Shops at The Row at Ocean Casino Resort for its third year. The seasonal market will feature gifts, treats and finds from more than 30 local businesses, and the first 200 shoppers each day will receive a holiday swag bag. On Dec. 13, the market will also host a special edition presented by South Jersey business Motivated Mommies, featuring local vendors with family-friendly offerings.

 

The Michael Bublé Experience at Tropicana Atlantic City

On Dec. 11 at 9 p.m., The Michael Bublé Experience will bring "A Very Bublé Christmas" to the Tropicana Showroom at Tropicana Atlantic City. The tribute show will celebrate the Grammy-winning crooner's signature holiday sound, from big-band standards to Christmas classics.

 

Trisha Paytas at Ocean Casino Resort

On Dec. 11 at 9 p.m., entrepreneur, author and internet personality Trisha Paytas will bring her Trishmas Live Tour to Ovation Hall at Ocean Casino Resort. A fixture of the creator world since the mid-2000s, Paytas has more than 20 million followers across platforms and has earned more than two billion views over the past year. The holiday show will blend music, comedy and the unscripted moments her fans have come to expect.

 

GOOSEMAS Comes to Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall for 13th Annual Holiday Show

On Dec. 11–12, Goose is bringing their 13th annual GOOSEMAS Holiday Show to Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall. Known for their improvisational style and energetic live performances, the acclaimed band Goose will bring their signature sound and festive spirit to the stage for a special two-night event.

 

Atlantic City Holiday Parade and Village

On Dec. 12, Atlantic City's 2026 Holiday Parade and Village will take place at O'Donnell Memorial Park on Atlantic Avenue, bringing a festive community celebration to the destination during the holiday season.

 

Cirque Dreams Holidaze at Ocean Casino Resort

On Dec. 20 at 4 p.m., Cirque Dreams Holidaze will bring an all-new production to Ovation Hall at Ocean Casino Resort. The family-friendly show will pair beloved holiday music with acrobatics, aerial performances and circus artistry, transforming the stage into a winter wonderland.

 

DJ Cassidy’s Pass The Mic Live Into The New Year at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City

On Dec. 31 at 10 p.m. and Jan. 1, 2027, at 8 p.m., DJ Cassidy will return to Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena for a two-night New Year's celebration starring Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Bell Biv DeVoe and Ja Rule. Following sold-out performances at the property in 2025 and 2026, DJ Cassidy's Pass The Mic Live! Into The New Year will bring the artists together for a continuous, collaborative concert spanning four decades of disco, R&B and hip-hop. The celebration marks the first New Year's Eve edition of Pass The Mic Live!

On Dec. 31, Tropicana Atlantic City will ring in 2027 with its annual balloon drop in Palm Walk. Guests can gather beneath the palms for the midnight countdown, as a shower of balloons fills the room to welcome the new year.

Q4 CONVENTIONS, CONFERENCES & SPORTING EVENTS IN ATLANTIC CITY

 

2026 Carwash Con East

The 2026 Carwash Con East was established in 1988 by car wash operators in Connecticut and has since grown to include five car wash associations from the Northeast region. Carwash Con East will take place Oct. 5-7 at the Atlantic City Convention Center and is expected to attract a substantial attendance of car wash operators and exhibitors, featuring educational seminars and a large exhibit floor with over 350 booths. The convention expects 1,620 attendees, 1,024 room nights and $1,397,075 in economic impact. 

 

Atlantic City Marathon

From Oct. 17-18, the Atlantic City Marathon will feature a marathon, half-marathon, 5k and 10k races. Established in 1958, the Atlantic City Marathon is the third-oldest continuing marathon in the United States, and its course is noted for being fast and flat, including eight miles of oceanfront Boardwalk running. The event expects 3,600 attendees, 151 room nights and $643,518 in economic impact.

 

2026 Annual New Jersey School Boards Workshop

From Oct. 20-21, a senior-level audience of school leaders, education professionals and influencers in New Jersey education will gather at the Atlantic City Convention Center for quality professional development, important legal, legislative, policy and funding updates, new products and services and a celebration of public education. The event expects 8,500 attendees, 11,437 room nights and $8,928,015 in economic impact.

 

NACAC College Fair Atlantic City 2026

The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) College Fair Atlantic City was founded in 1937 and is made up of more than 27,000 professionals from around the world dedicated to serving students as they make choices about pursuing postsecondary education. Students from the surrounding areas will have the opportunity to speak with representatives from 156 schools across the country to find their perfect educational match. The NACAC College Fair Atlantic City will take place on Oct. 28 at the Atlantic City Convention Center, and the event expects 2,151 attendees, 40 room nights and $264,387 in economic impact.

 

2026 New Jersey Education Association Annual Convention

At the 2026 NJEA Convention, teachers, educational support professionals, college students preparing to become teachers, faculty and staff from the state's community colleges and retired educators will enjoy more than 300 professional development seminars, workshops and programs designed to help teachers and educational support professionals hone their skills and stay current in their subject areas and chosen fields. The convention will take place from Nov. 5-6 at the Atlantic City Convention Center and expects 9,673 attendees, 4,626 room nights and $7,665,114 in economic impact.

 

2026 Annual New Jersey League of Municipalities Conference 

The NJLM Annual Conference is the largest municipal conference in the country and a critical mainstay in the portfolio of services provided by the League. With 16,000 attendees and 1,100 exhibit booths, it provides the raw information that municipal leaders take back to finding the way forward for their communities. It also serves the critical role of providing professional development for licensed municipal professionals and exposure to new products and ideas. The event will take place from Nov. 17-19 at the Atlantic City Convention Center. The conference has booked 8,280 room nights resulting in $15,952,642 in economic impact.

 

Triple Play REALTOR Convention & Trade Expo

The Triple Play REALTOR® Convention & Trade Expo has attracted thousands of REALTORS®, brokers, appraisers and other real estate professionals to the largest real estate convention and trade show of its kind in the U.S. Participants travel from coast to coast and around the world to learn about the newest and most exciting developments in real estate products and services. The event will take place from Dec. 7-10 at the Atlantic City Convention Center and expects 6,079 attendees, 3,884 room nights and $4,779,866 in economic impact.
