Expo will be held June 27-28
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (Monday, June 26, 2017) The Atlantic City Convention Center will welcome back the 31st Annual Police Security Expo, which will begin Tuesday, June 27 and conclude Wednesday, June 28. The facility will welcome more than 6,500 law enforcement and public safety professionals over the course of two days.
Now in its 31st consecutive year, the Police Security Expo provides an annual two-day product showcase aimed at keeping industry professionals better informed, better prepared, better equipped and safer on the job. Heralded as the industry “SuperShow,” the Expo will have more than 700 exhibits on display. Seminar programs, product demonstrations and new product updates will be the main point of focus throughout the Expo. Body cameras and drones will be among the latest tools and technological advances that will be on display to attendees.
“Over the past 30 years, I have had the pleasure of working with Meet AC, the Atlantic City Convention Center and the excellent local businesses that help us put on a successful event. The Atlantic City location is the perfect draw for our audience, as the majority of our attendee’s drive-in from the Northeast,” said Miles Watkins, Police Security Expo Coordinator.
Local Atlantic City businesses are expected to greatly benefit from the Police Security Expo at the convention center over two days. The estimated economic impact is expected to reach more than $2.5 million. In addition, 1,260 hotel rooms have been contracted by convention center visitors.
The Police Security Expo has been included and recognized in the Top 100 Gold Standard Trade Shows taking place in North America, as reported by Trade Show Executive Magazine, and recently in the Top 50 fastest-growing Expositions in the Trade Show Industry. As a member of this “elite” grouping, the Police Security Expo has surpassed the growth rate of the overall Exposition Industry based upon exhibit space and attendance figures.
The Police Security Expo is hosted by the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police and Managed by Sitework Associates, Inc. For more information, please visit: www.police-security.com.
