Atlantic City, NJ - May 7, 2025 - In celebration of National Travel and Tourism Week (May 4–10), Mayor Marty Small, Sr. has officially proclaimed Wednesday, May 7, 2025 as Visit Atlantic City Day. The proclamation recognizes Visit Atlantic City's pivotal role in delivering a record-breaking first quarter of 2025, generating more than $77 million in economic impact. The impact was fueled by hosting 12 major conventions, sporting events and conferences, while continuing to drive year-round tourism.

The proclamation also highlights Visit Atlantic City's strategic integration with DO AC and the new leadership of President and CEO Gary Musich, whose vision continues to position Atlantic City as a premier destination.

“We’re thrilled to be honored by the City of Atlantic City for the work we are doing to boost tourism to our iconic seaside destination,” said Gary Musich, President and CEO of Visit Atlantic City. “There’s been so much reinvestment in Atlantic City throughout the last several years, and we are looking forward to continuing the momentum with our destination partners and our common goal of showcasing all the incredible casino resorts, vibrant entertainment, diverse cuisine and unique experiences that the city has to offer.”

Among other achievements, Visit Atlantic City has helped preserve and enhance major events, including the reimagined Visit Atlantic City Soar & Shore Festival, formerly known as the Atlantic City Airshow.

Visit Atlantic City kicked off National Travel and Tourism Week with a special Volunteer Day in partnership with South Jersey Field of Dreams. The nonprofit organization provides children and adults with physical and mental disabilities the opportunity to experience the joy of playing America’s favorite pastime.
