New Jersey Meetings + Events Magazine Celebrates First Best of NJ Readers’ Choice Awards

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (August 24, 2016) – New Jersey Meetings + Events magazine, a trade publication covering the meetings and events industry in the Garden State, held its first annual Readers’ Choice Awards on August 18 at The Boathouse at Mercer Lake.

Meet AC is thrilled to receive the award for the best Convention Visitors Bureau (CVB) in an area with more than a 25,000 population in New Jersey. “Our team works very hard to book business and to market the destination to potential clients. We are honored to receive this award,” stated Jim Wood, president & CEO of Meet AC.

The awards celebrated the state’s winning hotels and resorts, vendors, and services catering to the event industry and were chosen by the magazine’s readers through a write-in ballot online earlier this summer. There were three finalists per category; winners were not advised until the evening of the event when they were presented with an award from the magazine’s editor, Nancy DePalma, and Associate Publisher, Maureen Hennessey. The magazine’s fall issue, available now through December, includes a feature about each winner in every category. A full list of the winners is available here
