EVENTS WILL GENERATE 1,300 HOTEL ROOM NIGHTS AND MORE THAN $1 MILLION IN DELEGATE SPENDING FOR ATLANTIC CITY

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (Monday, October 5, 2015) As the fall kicks into high gear, the Atlantic City Convention Center will be bustling with activity during the week of October 5. From human resource professionals to carwash manufacturers and distributors, the facility will welcome more than 1,450 attendees over the course of two events in the next four days.

Local Atlantic City businesses are expected to greatly benefit from this week’s activity at the convention center. The estimated delegate spending is expected to reach more than $1 million. In addition, 1,300 hotel rooms have been contracted by convention center visitors throughout the week. This week’s events include the 24th Annual Garden State Council Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) Conference and Expo and the 2015 Northeast Regional Carwash Convention.

Human resource professionals have begun their 24th Annual Garden State Council SHRM Conference and Expo on Sunday, October 4. This year, the concurrent keynote and mega session presentations are aligned with a specific theme, “HR’s Transformational Power,” ranging from the organizational to the self-development and personal experience perspectives. Professionals will be a part of over 60 concurrent sessions, exciting keynotes and plenty of opportunities for attendees to learn, share and sharpen their abilities, while celebrating, educating and engaging with each other.

Arriving in the building today will be the 2015 Northeast Regional Carwash Convention. Over 300 carwash manufacturers and distributors from the Northeast and beyond will be on hand to introduce the newest innovations to make your business more efficient, profitable and successful. Attendees are looking forward to hearing the keynote address with John Rodenhausen, Maryland Director of Development for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, as he discusses how everyone can benefit from clean water.
