Visit Atlantic City experienced strong momentum in the first half of the year by hosting 10 successful events, conventions and conferences that generated 20,991 room nights booked and 100,225 attendees, resulting in a total economic impact of $36,055,733. The seaside destination will continue the momentum going into summer by hosting seven major events and conferences including the return of Jimmy Johnson’s Atlantic City “Quest for the Ring” Championship Fishing Week, New Jersey Cannabis Convention, Arett Sales Open House and more.

 

WHAT’S NEW IN ATLANTIC CITY

 

Resorts Casino Hotel Announces Bubbles & Brunch at Capriccio
Resorts Casino Hotel recently announced that its on-site, award-winning Italian restaurant, Capriccio will host Bubbles & Brunch, Atlantic City’s only bottomless brunch, every Sunday from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. The concept brings together elevated breakfast and lunch selections, including gourmet pastries, made-to-order omelets, Eggs Benedict, prime sirloin and eggs, T-bone pork chops, cavatelli Verdi and more. The menu also offers $15 bottomless mimosas and Bloody Mary's with the purchase of an entree, and all guests receive vouchers for free valet and self-parking. To accompany the bunch, guests can enjoy live music from DJ Joe Castro every week.

 

Caesars Beach Club Opens to the Public
Caesars Atlantic City officially opened the brand new Caesars Beach Club this June. Caesars Beach Club is an elevated, resort-style outdoor bar, offering a lively, open-air escape with sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean, blending coastal fare, handcrafted cocktails and DJ-driven music. The space features a mix of thoughtfully designed settings, from lounge-style dining to laid-back loungers and elevated VIP cabanas.

 

Sitar, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City’s Newest Restaurant Opens on July 17
On July 17, Sitar, a modern Indian Restaurant will officially open at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, bringing bold flavors and artistry to the destination. The menu was created by Executive Chef, Christopher Corda, blending a contemporary take on the iconic flavors of India, with standout dishes including Dosa En Croute, Coal Fired Butter Chicken, Pastooni Lobster Masala and more.

North Beach Fireworks Spectacular
On July 10, North Beach will host its annual fireworks display, which is free and open to the public. Guests can watch this stunning fireworks display at several prime viewing spots along the north end of the boardwalk, including Steel Pier, Resorts Casino Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, Showboat and Ocean Casino Resort. Before the fireworks show, attendees can enjoy live music, drink specials and more throughout the North Beach boardwalk area.

 

Knee High Knuckle Buster Micro Wrestling
One of Atlantic City’s most unforgettable summer traditions, the Knee High Knuckle Buster Micro Wrestling will celebrate its 10th anniversary at the Ducktown Tavern’s outdoor "Back Duck" Arena on July 18 from 6 – 10 p.m. This larger-than-life Championship Micro Wrestling event features four action-packed bouts culminating in an all-out royal rumble, photo opportunities with the wrestlers, special guests, vendors and interactive activities throughout the evening.

 

Shakira
On July 25, legendary performing artist Shakira will be performing her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour 2026 at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall.

 

Rüfüs Du Sol
Iconic, Grammy award-winning DJ, Rüfüs Du Sol will be performing on the Atlantic City Beach on Aug. 29.

 

48 Blocks Festival
On Sept. 19, the Atlantic City Arts Foundation is hosting the 48 Blocks Festival, for a fun-filled day of live music, large-scale art instillations, food and stories from all of Atlantic City’s 48 blocks. This free, family-friendly celebration invites guests to immerse themselves in the authentic spirit of Atlantic City through hands-on art activities and delicious flavors from local food vendors.

 

The Downbeach Seafood Festival
From Sept. 19-20 at Ski Beach in Ventnor from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m., guests can take part in the Downbeach Seafood Festival, a celebration of the Jersey Shore’s coastal flavors. The festival features dozens of seafood vendors and regional restaurants serving everything from lobster rolls and oysters to crab cakes, clams and other fresh local favorites. There will be craft beers, live music, cooking demonstrations, family-friendly activities and competitions, including the annual chowder cook-off.

America’s Birthday Pop-Up Bar at 1927 Lounge at Ocean Casino Resort
Taking place this June in honor of America 250, the 1927 Lounge at Ocean Casino Resort will debut “America’s Birthday Bar.” This will be an immersive, Americana-inspired pop-up experience that will feature festive decor, themed photo opportunities and specialty cocktails to celebrate the nation’s milestone anniversary. Philadelphia-based beverage partners will add a distinct local element, paying tribute to the birthplace of America.

 

Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa Fireworks Spectacular
Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is hosting a Fireworks Spectacular on July 3 in celebration of the Fourth of July weekend. Produced by the world-renowned Fireworks by Grucci, this dazzling 20-minute display of musically synchronized pyrotechnics will light up the Atlantic City skyline in a breathtaking holiday tradition.

 

Tropicana Fireworks Series
The Tropicana Fireworks Series is returning to Atlantic City this summer, with crafted aerial displays lighting up the sky above the beach and Boardwalk on select Saturdays throughout the summer season.

 

Water Ice Festival at Ocean Casino Resort
Ocean Casino Resort will be hosting the first ever Water Ice Festival on July 18 at The Park at Ocean, inviting guests to cool off with one of the region’s favorite frozen treats. The Water Ice Festival will feature approximately 30 vendors from across New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware and allow guests to sample traditional and creative flavors, and vote for favorites in a fun-filled atmosphere. 

 

Piggy Bank Pop-Up Bar at Resorts Casino Hotel
Bar One at Resorts Casino Hotel turned into the Piggy Bank Pop-Up Bar until Sept. 7, a limited time experience where every cocktail feels like a win. This lively pop-up brings bold drink specials, themed décor and a high energy atmosphere to the heart of Resorts, complete with live music, promotions and nightly entertainment.

New Jersey Bar Exam
The New Jersey Bar Exam will be held at the Atlantic Convention Center from July 28-29. The standardized exam is administered to law school graduates seeking admission to the New Jersey Bar and tests general principles of law, legal analysis and communication skills. The event expects 1,400 attendees, 60 room nights and $192,482 in economic impact.
 

Arett Sales Open House 2026
Arett Sales will host its annual Open House at the Atlantic City Convention Center from Sept. 16-17. The two-day event brings together independent garden centers and retailers to explore exclusive show specials, attend buying appointments and connect directly with top vendors across the industry. Designed to help businesses plan for the year ahead, the Arett Sales Open House is known for its efficiency, convenience and strong vendor partnerships, all under one roof in Atlantic City. The event expects 1,400 attendees, 1,356 room nights, and $1,497,038 in economic impact.

 

New Jersey Cannabis Convention 2026
The 7th Annual New Jersey Cannabis Conference (NECANN) will take place at the Atlantic City Convention Center from Sept. 18-19. This event recruits the largest, most comprehensive group of cannabis industry professionals of any event across the Northeast, bringing new relationships and customers to them. The event expects 3,089 attendees and $807,119 in economic impact.

 

SHRM New Jersey Annual Conference 2026
The SHRM New Jersey Annual Conference 2026 Conference brings Human Resource (HR) professionals together to the Atlantic City Convention Center from Sept. 27-29. This event supports the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) initiatives within the state. It serves as an entry point for HR professionals new to New Jersey or those not currently covered by a local chapter. The event expects 650 attendees, 271 room nights and $548,915 in economic impact.

Atlantic City Jam Fest
The Atlantic City Jam Fest will return to the Atlantic City Convention Center from July 9-10 and will feature over 34 courts under one roof. The event expects 11,000 attendees, 4,743 room nights and $5,927,458 in economic impact.

 

Jimmy Johnson’s Atlantic City “Quest for the Ring” Championship Fishing Week
Taking place from July 12 - 18, the annual Jimmy Johnson’s Atlantic City “Quest for the Ring” Championship Fishing Week returns as a premier offshore fishing tournament that brings elite teams to compete along the New Jersey coast for a coveted championship ring. Hosted in partnership with the Atlantic City Sports Commission, the event features multiple days of high-stakes fishing, public weigh-ins at Atlantic City and Ocean City, MD, and lively nightly hospitality and entertainment. It combines world-class sportfishing with a festival-style atmosphere throughout the week. The event expects 1,500 attendees with 1,500 room nights and $2,378,036 in economic impact.

 

Jersey Jumps Beach Vault
The Jersey Jumps Beach Vault returns to Atlantic City’s Arkansas Avenue Beach from Aug. 1-2, for its 18th annual event. Athletes from across the region will take to the sand for this one-of-a-kind pole vault competition, which brings together high school, collegiate and elite competitors for an action-packed weekend on the beach. With the Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop and the lively summer atmosphere of the Boardwalk, the event offers an unforgettable experience for both athletes and spectators. The event expects 500 attendees, 50 room nights and $$119,395 in economic impact.
