Looking for more upscale dining? A small and quaint Italian joint just off of Pacific Ave, is truly a must dine at while in town. Order up the handmade warm burrata style fresh mozzarella that is made and served tableside. Pro tip: Add the prosciutto – it will melt in your mouth and you’ll want to savor every bite.

Land on the Orange Loop

Orange Loop, borrows its name from everyone’s favorite board game, Monopoly, take a few steps off the Boardwalk where you will land on the Orange Loop! Experience three beach blocks of unique restaurants, bars, chocolate, live music, yoga and more. Tennessee Avenue, St. James Place and New York Avenue await your arrival.

Hayday Coffee
Start every morning feeling refreshed and energized at Atlantic City’s only independent coffee shop, Hayday Coffee. Located on New York Avenue, select cold or hot beverages from Hayday’s premium espresso bar, signature roast drip coffee, or unique on-draft brews and teas.

Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall
The anchor of the Orange Loop is Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall. If you are a beer lover then this is the place to be! Expect to find over a hundred craft beers on draft and by the bottle. Need a snack? Check out their unique menu creations like the Lobster Tator Tots and Pennsylvania Ave Soft Pretzel. Nothing pairs better with a cold brew.

An Afternoon Exploration

Expand your horizons and take a short 25 minute drive north to the historic Smithville Village in Galloway, NJ. Stroll the cobblestone pathways and beautiful manicured grounds as you visit over 40 unique shops and boutiques. Belly up to the wooden bar at Tomasello Winery’s wine shop where you can swirl, sniff and sip a variety of dry, sweet and fruity wines. If all the wine tasting has you hungry or in need of a refreshing beverage, The Smithville Inn or Fred & Ethel’s Tavern has something for everyone. Follow the red brick road where it will lead you to a delightful scent of fresh baked bread, pastries, cookies, pies and more at The Smithville Bakery. Wineries, Distilleries, and Breweries

Looking to go off the beaten path and away from the hustle and bustle of the city? Well, wine your way through rural South Jersey where you can visit the Wine Trail with more than 15 wineries and a plethora of options for wine lovers and connoisseurs.

The Wine and Ale Trail of South Jersey is a trail consisting of local wineries, breweries and distilleries in the Hammonton region in Atlantic and Camden Counties.

Sharrott Winery
A favorite among visitors is Sharrott Winery, located in Hammonton, NJ. Nestled among a stunning vineyard and horse farm it’s a 45-minute drive from AC and hosts visitors from near and far. Sit back and enjoy your preferred glass of wine, along with a decadent cheese board or sample a variety of wines with a wine flight. The newest tasting room is an experience as soon as you pull up to the estate. Visitors will not be able to take their eyes off of the stunning barn doors and glass garage doors that sprawl onto a beautiful patio overlooking the endless vineyard vines. Little Water Distillery
Drive back into Atlantic City and pick up where you left off. Little Water Distillery is Atlantic City’s first and only craft distillery to produce whiskey, rum, vodka and gin. With tours and tastings, it's the perfect site to find your new beloved spirit, produced locally.

Endless Experiences on the Boards

Historic, wooden and seven miles long; The Atlantic City Boardwalk continues to attract visitors from all around the world as they create their story with everlasting memories. Stroll the wooden way by foot, bicycle, the legendary rolling chair or watch the tram car please! The scent of Boardwalk fare food can be detected around every block. Hot and fresh funnel cake or mouthwatering cheese fries, your pick. If you’re in the mood to shop, excellent surf shops, souvenir stores and specialty boutiques will help you find just what you are looking for. Bring the family, too! Steel Pier, Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, Central Pier Arcade and Speedway, miniature golf and much more can be found at the Jersey Shore for endless fun.

Follow the sound of the music…steps off the Boardwalk and inside Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall you will hear whispers and thundering of the world’s largest musical instrument, the pipe organ. The pipe organ can be seen and heard in operation every weekday for half hour concerts and tours May-September. Additional free Boardwalk entertainment can be heard daily. Whether it’s jazz night with the Chicken Bone Beach Jazz Concert Series or Tribute Tuesdays with your favorite tribute band there is something for every music lover and beyond.

Family-centric fun continues in Atlantic City’s Inlet Neighborhood on the Boardwalk at North Beach Mini Golf. Gather your group for some friendly competition on the 18-hole golf course with natural views of the Absecon Lighthouse and the Absecon Inlet along Atlantic City’s northern end.

Explore the Town of Hammonton

Known as the “Blueberry Capital of the World,” Hammonton, NJ is a quaint town outside of AC. If you are an antique lover, then you will have no problem digging for the hidden treasures. Wander down the sidewalks and stumble upon a different shop or restaurant around every corner. On The Town Food Tours offers a food tour spent on Bellevue Avenue sampling food and exploring the arts. A Place to Soar

Located on the world-famous Boardwalk and steps from casino resorts, the historic Steel Pier will channel your inner youth with amusement rides you’ve loved as a kid and a chance to win that big stuffed animal you’ve dreamed about. One pier, one wheel, endless fun…walk onto one of the 40 climate controlled gondolas on Atlantic City’s newest attraction, The Wheel. The third largest Wheel in the United States lights up the ever-changing skyline of Atlantic City and offers sweeping views. Pro tip: Purchase tickets for a sunset ride so you can catch beautiful cotton candy skies. Aim wisely or you will miss! Try an attempt at the newest sport, axe throwing with your group and compete for the best axe thrower award. Fly high in the sky with the Steel Pier Helicopters and have your camera ready for the perfect photo op as you soar up and down the shoreline. Take a break from the action and visit the Ocean Reef Oasis bar as you sip a drink or host your group 1,000 feet over the ocean. Whatever you choose, brace yourself for great fun and action!

Back Bay Adventures

A quaint and historic village located on the waterfront is Gardner’s Basin. The Basin sits on the hub of the Absecon inlet showcasing spectacular views of the Marina District, Back Bays and Atlantic Ocean. Gaze at the glistening waterways as fishing boats and stunning yachts passage through the channels.

Highroller
There are plenty of fish in the sea so get ready to hook one. Find a spot along the jetty or book a reservation on the Highroller fishing charter. You will be sure to go home with a catch.

Gilchrist
A locals hot spot on the water serving up breakfast and lunch has you covered. Order up the infamous blueberry hotcakes or a savory pork roll and cheese sandwich, a perfect start for a long day spent on the boat.

Back Bay Ale House
A popular summer establishment for locals and visitors to grab a seat at the bar or hang at a picnic table. Your four legged furry pals are even invited. On trend and served up are colorful mason jar creations along with fresh seafood right off the boat.

Atlantic City Aquarium
From the extraordinary exhibits to the informational shows and even a touch tank, exploration and imagination will run wild here. On your way back from Gardner’s Basin stop at one of the oldest lighthouses in the country

Absecon Lighthouse
The majestic Absecon Lighthouse stands at 171 feet tall and boasts as New Jersey’s tallest lighthouse. Climb until you can’t climb anymore because the 228 steps are worth the views at the top.
